Blaine leaves passers by in awe as his entire body hovers six inches above the ground, literally levitating before them; as he brings a swatted housefly back to life; and makes a chosen card appear inside the boot of a passing New York policeman. What makes these incredible feats all the more mystifying is the fact that they are presented by a good-looking 26-year-old guy in a black T-Shirt. No hat to conceal a rabbit, no sleeves to conceal hidden cards. There is no smoke, there are no mirrors, the fly isn¼t placed under a handkerchief ‚ it is dead on somebody¼s hand and it literally comes back to life. David takes his
astonishing, almost mystical performances to the streets of America, but also to the superstitious natives of Haiti and South American rain forests ‚ the audiences, from New York to Port au Prince, to the Dallas Cowboys(!) share the same awe of Blaine¼s magic.
