Thanks to Magic Newswire reader MM23 for sending us a link to the press release announcing an unofficial world record attempt by Singapore magicians "Magic Babe" Ning & JC Sum. According to the release, "On Sat, 27 Jun 2009 @ 9:30pm, in front of an expected audience of 5000 people, the illusionists will attempt to perform a world record-setting 15 grand illusions in 5 minutes. The one-off spectacular is aptly entitled “The Impossible Record” and will be adjudicated by the Singapore Book of Records and the International Brotherhood of Magicians (Singapore & U.S.A). The record is the first ever magic record of any kind to be adjudicated by the Singapore Book of Records and is also being submitted to Guinness World Records."
